Cheyenne Skye & The Tasty Cakes are an upbeat folk/rock band from Santa Barbara, CA. The Tasty Cakes deliver a delicious blend of humor, romance, funk & feel-good grooves. As a four-piece band, percussionist Brian Coe adds a rhythmic backdrop to complement Cheyenne Skye’s intricate vocal & acoustic guitar melodies while Geoff Levy (Spoonful, No Simple Highway) drops hypnotic bass lines that invariably make booties shake. To put the sonic cherry on top, Arwin Hojjati's lead electric guitar tastefully fills in the gaps to round out the band's unique sound. Their first full-length album, Curveball Wednesday, can be heard on all streaming platforms.
